FISH CAMP – Tenaya Lodge will be hosting its 2nd annual Earth Day Farmers’ Market on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We are really excited to let the local community know this is happening and invite everyone to come on up,” says Brooke Smith, Tenaya’s marketing coordinator. “We had great support last year and this year’s event will feature twice as many vendors.”
April 20 is also the kickoff of National Park Week, so it is a fee-free day at Yosemite National Park, Smith says, “which is one more good reason to come to the Farmers’ Market.”
This year’s Farmers’ Market at Tenaya will showcase all local vendors offering everything from goat’s milk soap and organic olive oil to fresh, locally grown produce and samples from Idle Hour Winery.
“There will be a lot of other activities going on that day,” Smith says.
Those who haven’t visited the lodge lately may not know that Tenaya’s popular Jackalope’s Bar & Grill recently underwent a complete makeover.
“We invite people to come by and enjoy the brand-new look and feel of Jackalope’s Bar & Grill,” which now features new decor, a new menu and additional seating, Smith says.
See what our local farmers have to offer at the Tenaya Lodge, located at 1122 Highway 41 in Fish Camp.
