Drive On Through For Girl Scout Cookies

Submitted by Jordan King –

OAKHURST – Girl Scout cookies have arrived and it’s easier than ever to support local cookie bosses! Girl Scout Troop 3041 from Oakhurst will be hosting cookie drive-thru locations on Saturdays and Sundays to make purchasing Girl Scout cookies as convenient as possible.

On Saturdays, Girl Scout Troop 3041 will be at the Sierra Star parking lot, at 49165 Road 426 in Oakhurst. This drive-thru will take place every Saturday beginning on Feb. 20 through Saturday, Mar. 19.

On Sundays, the Cookie drive-thru will be in the Vons Shopping Center near the Payless Shoes parking lot, at 40044 Highway 49 in Oakhurst.

Cookies may be purchased at the drive-thrus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All cookie flavors will be sold for $5 a package and directly benefits local Girl Scouts.

Through the Girl Scout cookie program, local girls learn what it takes to be a business woman. They learn goal setting decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Each Girl Scout sets a personal goal for her cookie sales and works hard to achieve her goal. The cookie sales help girls to pay for trips, provide materials to give back to the community, and try new experiences.

If interested in cookies or more information on the drive-thru, please contact Teri Blea at (559) 760-3018. For more information on cookies, visit our website at www.girlscoutsccs.org
