Don Grove Images On Display In Madera Gallery

MADERA – “A Different Look at Yosemite’s Treasures” 150th Anniversary of Yosemite Land Grant Photography Exhibition is on display now at Circle Gallery in Madera.

I would like to invite you to journey down to the Circle Gallery at 1653 Schnoor, Ste. 113, in Madera, to join me at the Reception on Saturday, May 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. Two of my photographic images were selected for this exhibit and will be on display from May 13 through May 27. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Yosemite National Park and the surrounding National Forests have been a mystical and visual inspiration for generations of visitors and residents. Photography is one of the many ways artists and visitors alike have recorded and shared Yosemite and the Forests nearby.

This themed photography show will encourage local residents and park visitors to look closer at all the wonders of Yosemite – plant, animal, geological, hydrological and architectural, and share their personal vision.

The exhibit is advertised in the National Park Service listing of 150th Anniversary events at http://www.nps.gov/featurecontent/yose/anniversary/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Calendar-of-Activities-2013_FINAL.pdf

I hope you can come by the Circle Gallery, if not for the Reception, at a more convenient time for you. I think it will be a great exhibit of Yosemite and the surrounding National Forests.

p.s… No, neither of the selected photos is of the Albino Deer nor the Color on Bridalveil Fall. These are new photos, never before published or exhibited.
