MARIPOSA — Field trips are coming back to the Mariposa Museum but museum urgently needs an influx of new volunteers. Volunteer docents are needed as well as tour guides for the upcoming school field trip season. No experience is necessary. Museum docents are needed on a regular basis. Scheduling is extremely flexible, and shifts can be once per month to as often as desired. For school field trips, the museum offers tours of the museum, historic Counts House, Mariposa Gazette printing office, blacksmith shop, and offers gold panning. Field trips are typically scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the school year.
