OAKHURST — Yosemite Unified School District (YUSD) is planning to open child care programs at each of the elementary campuses and adjacent to the high school for enrolled students and employees’ children beginning this fall, the Interim Superintendent’s office announced today.
District Administration has posted a survey on the district webpage, as well as hard copy surveys, at each school office for interested parents and staff to complete. The results of the survey will drive the size and availability of each program.
The intent is to provide a very cost effective service to parents and staff and an enriching experience for kids in YUSD care.
The program hours will be before school, beginning at 6:30 a.m., in time for families to drop off their children before leaving for work or appointments, and after school from the ending bell to 6:30 p.m.
The monthly fee-based service will be offered at cost by the district.
