OAKHURST — The nonprofit organization One Tribe Global invites individuals in the community to attend a special workshop on discovering and defining your own personal story, with D’Elle Milton at the helm.
Using tools like guided imagery, journaling, and meditation, participants will begin to identify beliefs that are the basis of personal stories, say organizers. Several techniques will be used to assist in understanding self-limiting beliefs, embracing one’s own innate ability to recreate and consciously embody personal stories or “myths,” and defining who we are to ourselves and the world outside.
The workshop is offered in a private home in the Oakhurst area, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, with location given on registration. Those participating will be given clues to discover how to release old, self-limiting structures to build a more authentic present. Materials are included, and attendees are advised to bring a journal and a sense of adventure!
You may reserve your stop now by signing up at www.onetribeglobal.org under the “education” tab. Registration is also available by sending a $45 check to One Tribe Global, PO Box 811, Oakhurst 93644. Please be sure to include your email address. If you want to pay in cash, register via email. Light refreshments will be provided.
One Tribe Global is a group of individuals who share a vision of personal as well as worldwide transformation, manifested by creating opportunities to share the discoveries and creative expressions of our personal journey into greater consciousness. We believe that by celebrating our gifts, knowledge, experience and wisdom with each other we can effect positive change in our personal lives as well as in our global community. We bring focus and enthusiasm to those things we would empower and expand by sponsoring events intended to enhance our life experience together.
