Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Endorses Moreno For District Attorney

MADERA RANCHOS — The Madera County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (MCDSA) has announced they will endorse prosecutor Sally Orme Moreno for District Attorney.

“The backing of the members of the association, which is comprised of Madera County’s Sheriff’s Deputies and District Attorney Investigators, is another sign that Moreno is law enforcement’s choice for Madera County District Attorney,” said the MCDSA in a statement released this week.

“I’m honored to have the support of our hardworking deputies and investigators,” Moreno said. “They work day-in, day-out to protect our county, and they know what is needed in the DA’s office to keep our county safe.”

“We are proud to support Sally Moreno for District Attorney,” said MCDSA president Michael Motz. “She has extensive experience prosecuting some of the worst criminals in Madera County. She’s a proven team player who will work with law enforcement and won’t rest until justice is served for victims.

“Moreno is a former police officer and Army veteran. She is the sole career prosecutor running for District Attorney in Madera County.”

“It’s time for a mindset change at the top of the DA’s office,” says Moreno. “The #1 priority of the District Attorney should be putting victims first. Instead, we’re playing politics with pleas and violent felons. As your District Attorney, I will be the champion for victims.”
