BASS LAKE — Sierra National Forest officials have announced a project to reduce hazard trees along Beasore Road beginning Monday, June 10, and running through the month of July, including the 4th of July holiday.
The project will take place along Beasore Road between Road 274 and Beasore Meadow. Logging crews with flagging personnel and work in progress signs will be posted along the route to control traffic during this time.
Travelers on Beasore Road can expect delays of up to 30 minutes or longer at times, if necessary. Officials ask that travelers plan for extra time along the road or use an alternate route to get to your destination, if possible, during the project.
Commuters are reminded to obey the flagging personnel and pay close attention to logging vehicles and crews. Please drive cautiously, reducing your speed through the work zone and along forest roads.
