½ pound of butter (1 cup)
1 cup of sugar,
cream and gradually add sugar
2 eggs yolks add and blend well
2 cups flour, add gradually and mix well
1 cup chopped walnuts fold in
Spoon and spread ½ above mixture in greased 8×8 pan
and then spread ½ to 1 cup jam of choice,
then, crumble remaining dough over the jam.
Bake 1 hour at 325.
Cool and cut into 2×2 inch squares.
