Crime Stoppers Offers Reward In Child Abduction

FRESNO COUNTY – Valley Crime Stoppers has announced that it is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the identity and apprehension of the suspect involved in the abduction of a 3-year-old Huron girl Sunday morning.

Tanya Ruiz was found wandering in a field earlier today and has since been reunited with her family.

The person who kidnapped Tanya is still outstanding, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male of approximately 30 years of age with long hair, who was reportedly last seen wearing a red shirt and red hat. He was observed leaving the area on a bicycle, which has been recovered.

On Sunday, Apr. 27, little Tanya was abducted when her mother placed the child in the vehicle, then went back inside for her wallet, when preparing to leave for the store. When she returned to the car, the little girl was gone.
