Terrific Turnout For MOPS Community Baby Shower

Submitted by Joy Judd

OAKHURST – We had an amazing turnout for the MOPS Community Baby Shower last weekend, as we basically doubled our number from 80 families served last year to 156 families for 2015.

Thanks to all who helped out!

We had families lining up starting at 6:45 a.m. Saturday morning, Mar. 21 at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church and 95 families were already registered by the time we actually started the shower at 9 a.m.

Area Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) are grateful that so many groups contributed to the shower this time around. We offer special thanks to Sierra Vista members who donated money that allowed us to purchase 26 car seats.

MOPS are also so thankful that Soroptimist of the Sierras gave us a large financial contribution that allowed us to buy a large number valuable give-aways.
