A note from Gwen Dunn, Sierra Historic Sites Association Board of Directors —
OAKHURST — Thank you to all the community volunteers, donors, sponsors and everyone who helped with the 20th annual Mountain Heritage Days. It was a great success and I look forward to doing the event again next year.
We will be having a Thank You Celebration for the community, organized for everyone who did something to help us this year. It will be on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Fresno Flats Historic Museum & Park. Finger foods will be available.
In the meantime, we will be looking at all information that everyone has been turning in, and are accepting any information people want to share about how they liked the event, or what they didn’t like and how they think we can change it, and any other comments.
We will be using that feedback at our follow-up meeting on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, so please send in your info at least two weeks prior in order for it to be considered.
