Coarsegold 4-H Offers Mountain Area Clothing Swap

by Emma Hussey, 4-H Community Service Project member

COARSEGOLD – The Coarsegold 4-H has collected clothing each winter to give away at our Mountain Area Clothing Swap for the past 4 years. This year will be our 5th year to continue this tradition.

The event will be on Thursday, December 10th from 2pm to 5pm at the Coarsegold Community Center at 35610 Hwy CA-41 (at the corner of Hwy 41 and Morava Road) in Coarsegold.

There are two parking lots and we will be setting up our giveaway at the upper parking lot and ask our guests to park below and take the stairs up due to limited parking above. The event will be outdoors and we ask guests to please wear masks.

Our Coarsegold 4-H Community Service leaders have been busy collecting donations of gently used clothing and shoes for all ages from birth through adult and welcome any further donations to be dropped off to the Coarsegold Community Center. Due to the volume of generous donations received already, we can no longer do pickups at this time.

We welcome anyone and everyone to come for FREE items, first come, first served. Our goal is to redistribute items within our mountain community.

We hope to see you there!
