Coarsegold 4-H is Alive and Well!

COARSEGOLD – On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. Coarsegold 4-H held its first meeting on Zoom. A special guest joined us. Alex Schaefer is a trapper for all of Madera county. He told us about his job and how he helps people with animal predator problems. If you have problems with predators such as coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, bears, etc. please contact him for help. You can get his number from Pat Strimling (email listed below).

4-H helps kids and adults learn how to raise animals, help the community, and learn how to do things you may never have had the opportunity to do before! This month Coarsegold 4-H went to Tractor Supply to raise money and awareness for 4-H. We sold over $100 worth of paper clovers. Thank you all who came out and supported us.

Coarsegold 4-H is alive and well. We have the following projects available: Poultry, Mechanical Science, Archery, Pistol Shooting, Horse, Vet Science, Cooking, Business Skills. Sewing, Sheep, Meat Goat, Community Service, Dairy Goat, Arts and Crafts, and more. We really hope you will join us. If you are interested in joining please contact Pat Strimling (Club leader and Poultry leader) at strimlin@gmail.com or check our Facebook page.

We hope you have a wonderful month of October and enjoy the cooler weather.
