Children's Museum Summer Activities

OAKHURST – Summer is time for fun and time for learning at the Children’s Museum of the Sierra in Oakhurst.

Kids (and their parents) are welcome to join Museum volunteers for an hour or so of entertaining and educations activities. The schedule for July:

July 9 – 11 a.m. The Science Lady Squishy Circuits (ages 5 and up)

July 9 – 1 p.m. Little Rascals Club Dinosaurs (ages 2-5)

July 11 – 1 p.m. Little Rascals Club Dinosaurs (ages 2-5)

July 16 – 11 a.m. The Science Lady Energy (Cookie Mining) (ages 5 and up)

July 16 – 1 p.m. Little Rascals Club Opposites (ages 2-5)

July 18 – 10:30 a.m. Little Rascals Club Opposites (ages 2-5)

July 19 – 11 a.m. Make a Knitting Spool or Rainbow Loom (ages 5 and up)

July 23 – 11 a.m. The Science Lady Pizza Box Oven (ages 5 and up)

July 23 – 1 p.m. Little Rascals Club Plants & Flowers (ages 2-5)

July 25 – 11 a.m. Little Rascals Club Plants & Flowers (ages 2-5)

July 26 – 11 a.m. Magnificent Melting Works of Art (all ages)

July 30 – 11 a.m. The Science Lady Simple Machines (Pulleys) (ages 5 and up)

Reservations are strongly suggested. Classes are free with membership or paid admission, and donations are gratefully accepted to help cover the cost of supplies.
