Music and Ramen on the Green, a Mariposa Fundraiser
The Mariposa County Arts Council invites the community to join an evening of art, food, wine, and connection at Ramen on the Green, a fundraiser in support of the 2026 Music on the Green concert series.
Taking place on Friday, June 5 from 5 to 7 p.m., this walkable, multi-location fundraiser unfolds across downtown Mariposa as a connected experience. The evening features a special fundraising dinner at Little Shop of Ramen (5021 CA-140), the closing reception for the Sierra Seven Arts Alliance’s traveling exhibition From Here to There at the Mariposa County Arts Council (5009 CA-140), a creekside showcase of work developed during the Art’s Council Mariposa Creek Parkway Artist in Residency pilot program and the opening night of Music on
the Green at the Mariposa Arts Park with Yosemite Jazz Band. Guests are encouraged to move between locations at their own pace throughout the evening.
Little Shop of Ramen will be offering a special summer ramen bowl featuring fresh, locally sourced greens available for two hours only (5pm-7pm), with 10 percent of proceeds directly benefiting Music on the Green and its performers. Guests can also take part in additional giving opportunities, including menu add-ons and the purchase of a souvenir wine tumbler. Attendees may also take their ramen to go and grab a spot at the Art Park before the concert starts.
At the Arts Council, the evening offers a final opportunity to experience From Here to There , a regional exhibition organized by the Sierra Seven Arts Alliance. The show features work by artists from Mariposa, Tuolumne, Amador, Calaveras, Alpine, Mono, and Inyo counties, exploring the character and diversity of the Sierra region. During scheduled sessions, participating Mariposa artists will share reflections on their work and creative process, offering visitors the opportunity to engage with them while viewing the exhibition.
In partnership with The Local Grape, Music on the Green wine tumblers will be available for purchase at Little Shop of Ramen. Throughout the summer season, each pour and refill will contribute one dollar toward sustaining the concert series and supporting its artists.
Along Creek Parkway guests will have the opportunity to see some of the work developed during the Art Council’s Mariposa Creek Parkway Artist in Residency pilot program. As the evening unfolds, guests are encouraged to make their way to the Art Park between 6:30 and 7 p.m. At 7 p.m., Music on the Green officially begins with a performance by the Yosemite Jazz Band, setting the tone for a summer of live music in the heart of Mariposa.
Ramen on the Green is free, family-friendly, and open to all. Join us for an evening that celebrates the simple joy of being out on the town together.
