Chawanakee Positions Needed for Reopening

The Chawanakee Unified School District is looking to hire additional staff to accommodate the return of students with safety precautions in place. Several postings are coming out or are already posted on edjoin.org.

Chawanakee Unified School District has been running in person learning for Elementary students for several months now. This has been a great success as safety and student learning have been the priority from day one.

With the support of the community and staff our kids have had a great experience while also ensuring that we are all healthy and safe.

As the COVID numbers have improved Minarets High School, Mountain Oaks High School, and the 7th/8th graders at North Fork, Spring Valley, and Hillside are gearing up to return to in person learning.

Minarets will come back (when allowed) to a hybrid format with half of the student body on campus on a rotating day basis. We have put an emphasis on planning to allow for effective instruction while also providing some options for families.
