Big changes in store for Pat and me. We accepted an offer for our North Fork house, and found a house in the Valley of the Moon (between Sonoma and Santa Rosa) that we would like to buy. It’s in an “active adult retirement community” with fitness gyms, pools, library, hiking and photography clubs, and much more. The scenery is glorious right now in fall. It’s only an hour to SF and to the Pacific, but with more traffic than we are used to. In Santa Rosa we stayed in the same place we spent our first married night on our honeymoon, the Flamingo Hotel and Resort, once modern, now retro chic.
Valley of the Moon, made famous by Jack London, who lived here.
It’s like Napa Valley with less development.
Blackbirds.
The neighborhood where we want to live, Hood Mountain in the background. Regional parks with hiking trails are on both sides of the community.
The patio of the house we like. We would pay a monthly fee for maintenance. No more garden work.
Typical Santa Rosa scene.

Very fifties, but nicely updated.
I am thrilled for you and Pat and am honored to have met and worked with you during this transitional time in your life!
Warm regards,
Theresa
