Central Texas Swing Band At Bass Lake For Ameripalooza

Big Cedar Fever out of Central Texas

BASS LAKE — The Pines Resort opens its doors on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 for a celebration of music, food and libations along with festivities that are a good fit for the whole family, all day long — Ameripalooza starts at noon on the Gazebo Deck at Ducey’s on the Lake.

At 1 p.m. the live entertainment kicks off  with award-winning western swing band Big Cedar Fever out of Central Texas. “Three part harmonies and tight musical arrangements draw listeners in, only to be taken away by the classic style and lyrics that recall another time and place.”

There’s a $5 entry ticket for the concert, with no charge for veterans of the military, active-duty military and children under 5 years old. Limited table seating is available — arrive early for your best choice of seating. The lawn area will be open for sitting and guests are invited to bring a blanket for lawn seating. No outside food or beverage is permitted but there’s beer tasting from a variety of breweries and a special menu of mouthwatering lakeside delicacies will be offered.

It may be a little chilly at the lake on Monday — that means you’ll need to dance to stay warm. Participating breweries and full menu are available for viewing on the link below.
