Sharon Kay (Riechers) Gaston Lyon passed away June 29, 2021, with her family by her side. Born March 25, 1947, in Los Angeles to Harold and Lois Riechers. Sharon attended Azusa High School in Azusa, CA, graduating in 1964 at the age of 16. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Business Management and retired from the Gale Group as an editor of medical journals.
Her love of travel took her on many adventures all over the world. She was known to be a great storyteller and was a member of TOPS and Toastmasters.
Sharon is survived by her son Brett (Kristi) Gaston, stepdaughter Wendy Lyon; grandchildren Catherine McIntyre, Alan Lyon, and Lyric Lyon; great grandchildren Skyler McIntyre and Jenavieve McIntyre; brother Jack Riechers and sister Sheila Rogers. She is proceeded in death by the two loves of her life, husband Terry Lyon and Alex Trebek.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 16, 2021, at 9 a.m. at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakhurst, CA.
