Please join us in celebrating the life of Sandra (Sandy) Baker. Sandy was born on June 12, 1938, and passed away on November 2, 2019. Sandy has been a member of the mountain community for many decades. She was the first female little league coach in Coarsegold, she was a waitress in many local restaurants, and she was a long-time business owner for more than 35 years alongside her partner, Glen Moore, at the 41 Trading Post.
Everyone who knew her loved her, and most even referred to her as Granny because that’s who she is to many of us. She is survived by her five children, Joy, Jill, Mark, Marlo and Traci; step-son Chris, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Since the age of fourteen she has been a hard-working woman who would do anything to take care of her loved ones. She was definitely devoted to her work and was one of the strongest women we have ever known.
Reception to follow immediately after the service in the fellowship hall.
Her celebration of life will be held on December 1, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Oakhurst Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 50690 Road 426 in Oakhurst.
