Nora Janet Griffiths, age 76, was born in Los Angeles and was a current resident of Oakhurst as well as a member of Sierra Pines Church.
Nora passed away November 20, 2020, at Clovis Memorial Hospital due to the effects of the COVID-19 virus. She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Pusateri and her father, Samuel Pusateri, PhD.
She is survived by her husband Vincent Griffiths of Oakhurst; step-children Shana Christina, Laura, Reese, nephew Charles Moneke and nine grandchildren.
A virtual Memorial service will be announced and held at a later date with the help of Sierra Pines Church.
Nora attended Fresno State College where she received a degree in secondary education. She taught Family Living for three years first at Woodland High School and for 30 years at Atwater High School in California.
She had attended Sierra Pines Church since 2000, becoming a member in 2010 when her husband retired and moved to Oakhurst.
In lieu of flowers, the Griffiths family would suggest memorial donations in her name to the Jon Stemkoski Celebrant Singers at 420 N. Dudley, Visalia, CA 93291.
