Celebration of Life for Mary “Mimi” Hall

Mimi and friend!

Mimi and friend!

In Loving Memory

Mary “Mimi” Elizabeth Hall, 58, passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends on Tuesday, October 8, at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

She was born on July 31, 1961, to Marion Marshall and Lawrence Hall in Lancaster. Mimi is the beloved mother of Rocky Butler, Tiffany Payne, and Breeanna Hall. Mimi is survived by mother Marion, brother Russell Hall, and sister Leree Nolan.

She spent most of her youth in the Lancaster area before moving to Oakhurst in 1995, where she raised her children. She returned home to Palmdale in July 2019 to spend her final months closer to her mother and siblings. She never gave up hope during her battle with cancer and she fought bravely, inspiring those whose lives she touched in her time on this earth.

Her smile was contagious, even in her final moments, she lit up the room. She had a laugh you could hear from a mile away. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, country music, and riding motorcycles.

Mary lived her life to the fullest at every opportunity. Her strength and loving heart were two of her most admirable traits and she will be remembered fondly by all those who knew and cherished her. Please join in celebrating her life on Sunday October 20th, at 11 a.m. at the Little Denver Church – Day Use Area at Bass Lake.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring photos to share and stories of Mary to celebrate her memory.
