Jon passed away on September 24th with his son by his side.
Jon was born on May 12, 1960, in Fresno County to Robert Heckman and Edith Heckman (Simmoms.)
Jon was a happy person that always left a good impression when he met someone. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it be building a shelf, replacing a floor or fixing your car. In his free time he enjoyed golfing with his sons and visiting his grandchildren.
Jon is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his sons Jeff Hale, Jon Heckman, and Mike Heckman, along with five grandkids and four brothers.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the North Fork Recreation Center. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send a card or a note with your favorite memory of Jon to Mike Heckman at P.O. Box 5008-143, Mariposa, CA 95338.
