Jamie Mascola passed away peacefully in her home on March15, 2022, in Coarsegold, California, surrounded by her loved ones. Jamie is survived by her husband Peter Mascola with whom she shared 14 incredible years. Jamie was blessed with three sons, Lance, Hunter and Chase; daughter-in-law Rylie; grandson Greydon; and mother Teri Smith and brother Jason Smith.
Jamie was born May 30, 1974, and raised in Raymond, California. She attended Yosemite High School. Jamie worked at Kerr Rug for nine years. She then returned to school to become certified as a security and correctional officer. Jamie was hired as a security officer for Madera County School District. She later became a correctional officer at Madera County Department of Corrections.
Jamie lived life on the go. She was adventurous, spontaneous, and loved taking trips to Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, and Arizona. One of her favorite things to do with her husband was enjoy a day of shopping and a great meal together. What Jamie loved and valued the most was sharing time with her family and friends. It did not matter if it was a special occasion or a simple get-together; she loved spending time with everyone. Jamie spent her life working hard, loving her family and friends, living and laughing. She will be greatly missed.
