Celebration of Life for Gordon Waller

Gordon Waller, born in Santa Monica, CA, on June 25, 1940, passed away in his Oakhurst home surrounded by his family on September 6, 2020.

Gordon was the co-owner of a print shop in Culver City, CA, for 20 years until moving to Oakhurst and purchasing the Kettle Restaurant. He held several other positions, from cook to tile cutter, before being diagnosed with throat cancer. He was a survivor for nearly 12 years.

Gordon was an active member of the Grub Gulch chapter of the ECV 41-49 as well as a member of 7-8 additional chapters.

Gordon is survived by his bride Judy Steinbach of 58 years, and four sons, Daniel, Douglas, David, and Donald; three granddaughters, Rebecca, Mackenzie, and Katelyn; and one grandson, Demarco.

Services will be held later when larger gatherings are permitted.

The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice for their amazing care and helpfulness during this very difficult time.
