Dave Dorsey
On June 23, 2021, Dave Dorsey passed away. Dave was born on February 8, 1954, the son of parents Chuck and Betty Dorsey.
Dave was the brother of Chuck and sister Linda Gerber. He was married to Linda Williams December 8, 1973.
Dave has three children and their spouses, Christine and Chris, Kim and Nick, Mike and Kaitlin.
Also six grandchildren, Paige, Ally, Kate, Holly, Carter, Austin.
Dave loved playing sports and hiking. He also worked on the Space Shuttle Main Engine at Rocketdyne From 1977-1991 and was chosen as a NASA Honoree and sent to Florida to watch the third launch.
Dave and Linda moved to Oakhurst in March of 1991, where they opened the Hallmark store in April of 1991. Dave was very active in supporting the community for 29 years until he retired October 15, 2019.
A celebration of life will be held for Dave on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church.
