Betty Lou Moffitt
A resident of Mariposa since the early 1960s, cherished matriarch and beloved friend Betty Lou Moffitt passed away from complications of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in November, 2018.
Betty Lou was an accomplished child prodigy, concert pianist and teacher, watercolor artist and photographer. Her artwork sold throughout California. She also was a gifted rider, trainer and breeder of Quarter Horses.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hal Mackie and Bill Moffitt.
Please join Betty’s children Bob and Sharon Moffitt and their families for a celebration of life on July 12, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Miner’s Inn banquet room in Mariposa.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you bring your favorite memories of Betty Lou to share.
