Celebration of Life for Antonio Frank Conti, Jr.

OAKHURST — Tony passed away on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 very unexpectedly from cardiac arrest at the age of 73.

At the age of 17, Tony volunteered to join the Army during the Vietnam War. During his time in the Army, he incurred an injury and received an Honorable Discharge because of the extent of the injury.  He was very proud to be a veteran.

Tony was a Vice President for 20 years with Security Pacific Bank.

He also enjoyed a second career at the Oakhurst Post Office for 18 years before he retired in 2011.

Tony and Teresita had a passion for camping and traveling the world.  Their favorite places to camp were Avila and Pismo beach where they would spend hours enjoying each other’s company. Tony was an avid boater and fisherman.  He loved to listen to music and dance with Teresita. One of his biggest passions was watching his grandchildren play sports.  He was always so proud of his children and grandchildren for all of their achievements, either in school, sports, or the things they did for the Community.   He was very proud not only of his marriage to his wife of 53 years but that all three of his sons also achieved very successful long-term marriages to their high school sweethearts.

If you ever saw Tony, he was always bragging about his grandchildren.

He loved them with so much passion.

Tony was blessed with a large and loving family.

He married his best friend and soulmate Teresita Castillo on November 16th, 1968.

Tony is survived by his wife, Teresita; his three sons, Peter, Mark, and Frank and their wives, Christa, Heather, and Christine.  He also had 10 amazing grandchildren, Taryn, Tyson, Carson, Christian, Preston, Ethan, Jacob, Antonio, Kendall, and Renzo, his grandson-in-law Nathan and his Great Grandson Liam.

The Conti family lost our Patriarch and in true Conti fashion, the family is standing strong together.

Nothing was more important to Tony than family.

He was an example of what a good husband, father, and grandfather should be.

A celebration of life will be held for Tony on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at Mountain Christian Center at 40299 Highway 49, Oakhurst, California from 10 am to 2 pm.
