Celebration of Life for Allen Borden

Allen Borden
March 21, 1961 – March 17, 2022

With heavy hearts, the family of Allen Borden would like to announce his passing. We would like to invite friends and loved ones to his upcoming Celebration of Life. He was born March 21, 1961 and passed away on March 17, 2022. Our hearts are broken and we miss him so very much. We have lived in the beautiful community of Ahwahnee and Oakhurst for almost 30 years, and we have made so many special friends here.

Allen is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cyndi. His children, Shara and Joshua, as well as his grandchildren Peyton, Zeus and Presley, who were the lights of his life.

His sister, Sharon and brother-in-law Harold Culverson, nephews Jason, Brandon and Dusty Culverson.

His Colorado siblings, Theresa, Leanna, and Doug and their families.

And of course the many other loved ones and friends that he made.

He was preceded in death by his brother Randy, his parents Inez and John, and his father Andy.

Allen was a passionate business owner and fisherman who was known for his many successes over the years, including his roofing business of 20 years, his vibrant country music endeavors and his legendary fishing lure business which will be kept alive by his loved ones.

He was a self-made, strong, and creative man who loved to host parties and barbecues for his friends and family. He loved camping trips and long quad rides in the mountains, bass fishing, hunting, and football.

Allen was gone too soon, but his spirit and small town legend will live on.

His Celebration of Life will be held at The Hitchin’ Post in Ahwahnee on Saturday, June 25, at 2 p.m.
