Allan Robert Davis

On May 18, 2021, at the age of 70, Allan Robert Davis went to be with the Lord.  He was born on September 4th, 1950, in Sacramento, California, to Del Ray and Kathleen Davis.  He grew up in the Sacramento area.

In 1970, as he traveled to Texas, he made a stop in Litchfield Park, Arizona, where he met the woman of his dreams, Deborah Rodriguez, and asked her to marry him a month later.  They married on January 29, 1972, and were perfectly matched for the next 49 years. He spent every moment giving her a hard time, making her laugh, and doing everything she said.  They were blessed with two children, son Philip, who he raised to have his same sense of humor and brilliance and then his daughter Kristin, who was and always will be a Daddy’s Girl.

They lived in Coarsegold, CA, for 34 years, until they retired to Florence, Oregon, in February of this year.

Just when he thought he was too old to fall in love again, he became a Grandpa, and his five grandkids stole his heart. Kaylee Madison, Philip Robert Michael, Noah Timothy, Nicolas Allan and Jaxon Philip were blessed to be able to have a personal relationship from day one. He really loved his family.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, clamming, and especially cooking. He was an avid reader. Many days he could be found in his workshop fiddling with wood or leather. He was an electrician as well, so changing wall sockets or putting in a ceiling fan was not uncommon.

He will be remembered as an amazing Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend, as well as a Christian, a woodworker, an electrician, a hunter, a marksman, beater of everyone at cards, watcher of Jeopardy.

Allan leaves behind his wife Debbie, children Philip & Kristin (Steven), mother Ruby, sisters Fred & Karen, grandchildren Kaylee, Michael, Noah, Nicolas & Jaxon, and his dog Harley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at PulmonaryFibrosis.org.

Services will be at Mountain Christian Center in Oakhurst, CA, on Saturday July 17, 2021, at 11 a.m.
