OAKHURST — A feast for the eyes and palate, the European-inspired Elderberry House showcases flavorful dishes with the finest local, seasonal, and organic ingredients from nearby Central Valley farms.
Working in partnership with the restaurant’s Head Chef Ethan de Graaff, Chef Chris Flint’s inspired menu selections complemented by an extensive wine list curated with 800 labels representing wines from around the world with an emphasis on California and French selections.
Al fresco dining on the patio, the stone-walled Cellar Bar, and seasonal cooking classes are also offered.

About Chef Chris Flint
Chef Chris Flint oversees the culinary operations of Château du Sureau and The Elderberry House as well as their sister properties First & Oak and their soon-to-debut restaurant, The Mulholland.
Prior to joining the team Chef Flint spent ten years with the globally acclaimed Make It Nice Hospitality Group.
During his tenure, he worked as the Chef de Cuisine at their flagship restaurant, Eleven Madison Park during the restaurant’s award-winning years.
He went on to play a pivotal role as the executive chef NoMad New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. After his days with the Make it Nice Group, Chef Flint was the executive chef at Maude, where they continued their one Michelin star.
