Driver Arrested For DUI In Highway 41 Wreck

The wreck that tied up Highway 41 for several hours on Tuesday, Oct. 30, has been determined to be the result of someone driving under the influence, says the California Highway Patrol. Esmeralda Hernandez, 29, of Clovis, was northbound on Highway 41 just south of Mecca Lane, when she drifted into the southbound lane and opposing traffic.

A failure to yield on a red turn signal resulted in a two-car accident at the intersection of Highways 41 & 49 on Saturday, Oct. 27. At about 11 a.m. Greg Foster, 63, of Raymond, traveling north on Highway 41 in a 2003 Ford pickup, was waiting at the red light to make a left turn onto Highway 49.
