Two Hikers Rescued In The High Country

MADERA COUNTY – The efforts of Search & Rescue volunteers, along with good weather conditions, led to the rescue of two hikers lost near Fresno Dome on the Sierra National Forest on Tuesday. Man Arrested For Meth In Coarsegold

COARSEGOLD – A Mariposa man remains behind bars facing felony drug charges following his arrest early Thursday morning in Coarsegold. Christopher Davis Franksen, 36, was taken into custody at around 2:24 a.m., Oct. 31, on Road 417 near Quartz Mountain Road, just west of Indian Lakes Estates, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
