MADERA COUNTY – A man featured in the Madera County Sheriff’s Office’s “Fugitive Friday” was apprehended in southeast Fresno just moments ago, according to the Sheriff’s Office. James Marlett, 25, was wanted in connection with stealing implement discs from a farm located on Avenue 15 and then selling the metal to recyclers.

OAKHURST – A Coarsegold man, accused of swiping a $28 bottle of tequila yesterday, now sits behinds bars with bail set at $15,000. Rainbow Borrego Reed Orozco, 25, was caught shoplifting by loss prevention officers in Oakhurst shortly after 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
