COARSEGOLD – District Attorney Michael Keitz will hold a Town Hall meeting to discuss with residents the investigation and prosecution of the recently concluded arson case. Two Coarsegold residents, Kenneth Jackson and Alice Waterman, were found guilty on Thursday, May 8, of 27 counts of arson committed during May and June of 2013.

MADERA COUNTY – One of two men wanted for robbery and attempted murder in Coarsegold last month has been arrested, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office. A second suspect is still at large. NORTH FORK – A 20-year-old man featured in Crimes Stopper’s Most Wanted last month is behind bars after being captured this afternoon in North Fork. Kyle Thomas Clarkson was among six fugitives featured on Crime Stoppers in March. He was wanted for possession of a controlled substance and making terrorist threats.
