Candidates Night In North Fork

NORTH FORK – The candidates running for District Attorney and Madera County Sheriff will be taking the stage tonight at the North Fork Town Hall to answer questions in their final forum before the election.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:00 event which will be moderated by District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler.

Candidates for Sheriff are Michael Salvador, current Undersheriff of Madera County; and Jay Varney, Chief of Police and Acting City Administrator for the City of Chowchilla.

Running for District Attorney are Michael Keitz, current Madera County D.A.; and David Linn, long-time Oakhurst attorney.
