OAKHURST – Last Tuesday, Bobby Macaulay secured the backing of CAL FIRE Local 2881, attaching their name to a long list of community leaders and local businesses supporting Macaulay.

“I am extremely proud to share that I have received the CAL FIRE Local 2881 endorsement,” said Macaulay. “As your supervisor, I plan to work with our local public safety leaders to secure funding, staff our firehouses, and work together to continue to keep District 5 safe for all to live, work and play.”
All three candidates for District 5 were interviewed by local CAL FIRE leadership. CAL FIRE Local 2881’s endorsement represents firefighters’ immense trust in Macaulay’s ability to not only advocate for public safety resources in order to prevent a major disaster, but for the overall safety of the citizens of Eastern Madera County.
With wildfire season becoming year-round in Madera County, Macaulay will advocate to provide our local heroes with the resources they need to keep our communities, small businesses, and neighbors safe.
