The Madera County Workforce Assistance Center invites individuals seeking jobs and businesses seeking employees to participate in the upcoming Eastern Madera County Job Fair, set for Thursday, Mar. 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oakhurst Community Center.
Job seekers should be bring copies of their resume and be prepared to complete applications. The Center suggests would-be employees “dress for success,” with a possibility that on-site interviews could take place. All of the agencies located at the Center work together to help local people with job placement, education, training, and more to help each person reach their employment goals.
The Madera County Workforce Assistance Center is a partnership of various community agencies, all working together to help the residents of Madera County. Services include assisting individuals with finding a job, referral to a school or training to improve skills, assistance with housing, cash aid, food stamps, Medi-Cal, and locating and getting involved with programs for youth.
