OAKHURST – The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that Yosemite Bicycles & Sports was broken into yesterday and a bike was stolen.
Citizens are asked to inform authorities if information is known about the burglary or the whereabouts of the bike.
On Thursday Feb. 5, 2015, just after 8 a.m., Madera County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Yosemite Bicycles & Sports, in regards to an alarm sounding at the business. The shop is located at 40680 CA-41.
The first deputy is said to have arrived within 5 minutes of receiving the call and found a broken glass door to the business.
It was determined that one mountain style bicycle was taken. The bicycle was described as being:
Brand: Specialized
Model: S Works Stump Jumper (large frame)
Color: Black with Red accents
