OAKHURST – Shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, June 30, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a body in the Fresno River north of the bridge on Road 426.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, they do not suspect foul play at this juncture, and no further details will be released unless it is determined that a crime has been committed.
The Sheriff’s Office does not release information about a deceased person or how they died unless they have reason to suspect criminal activity.
