Boat Parade And Fireworks At Bass Lake Independence Day

BASS LAKE — What’s up for Independence Day? Up in the sky it’s professional fireworks and on the ground — festivities at Bass Lake including the brilliant boat parade plus friends, families and plenty of fun for this 4th of July holiday.

The boat parade starts at 7 p.m. near the entrance to Willow Cove and moves toward The Pines Resort before looping over to The Forks and winding up in Miller’s Landing Marina for judging between 7:30 – 8 p.m. The time to register for this free event, brought to you by the Bass Lake Chamber of Commerce, is now.

Also courtesy of the Chamber, the fireworks show can be seen from The Pines Resort down towards the Falls to The Forks Resort, and you can watch from either side of the lake. The plan is to start the show at about 9 p.m. There is no fee to attend the fireworks show, however, parking will be at a premium so plan accordingly.

Please remember that, aside from this sanctioned show, all fireworks — even “safe and sane” — are prohibited at Bass Lake and all of the surrounding mountain areas. None are permitted. Zip, zero, zilch.

Barbecue, band and fireworks at the Pines Resort
