Big Cause 4 Paws Sale As Owner Prepares To Retire

OAKHURST — After nine wonderful years in Oakhurst, A Cause 4 Paws owner Vickie Deane has announced she is going to retire on Dec. 30, 2017.

Vickie sincerely wants to thank everyone in her community for their wonderful support throughout the years, especially those animal lovers who helped her save over 850 stray pets.

The store will place all of its inventory on half-off prices through the final day of business. Additionally, they will have extra blow-out sale days periodically, so keep watching the news for special sales.

Vickie has several storage areas and, over the coming months, will be moving all of the inventory to the sales floor. This means there will be new items to choose from everyday.

If any customers have outstanding credits due them, please be sure to come in and use that credit. Vickie needs to have these credits redeemed by Nov. 30, 2017.

Animal lovers and others, please remember that the store is still collecting empty cans, bottles and glass containers.  These items will be recycled and, at the end of the month, all proceeds will be donated to Kellen Rescue and SPCA. Foothill residents are encouraged to collect their recyclables in plastic bags and to bring their donations any time during the month.

For every 13-gallon bag or a single equivalent donation the donor will receive a $10 punch on their Frequent Buyer card. When the card is full, it can be traded for free merchandise at the thrift store. Again, the credits must be redeemed by Nov. 30, 2017.

Stop in, offer your warm wishes, and pick up something you need (or don’t!).
