NORTH FORK — Hundreds turned out last Saturday to hear live music, enjoy food and merchandise from seven vendors, and “oooh and aaah” over the gorgeous classic cars lining main street in North Fork during Hot August Night Classic Car Show and Street Party.
Willow Creek Catering and Nancy’s Tacos served up delicious fare, and there was kettle corn and ice cream. Also on hand were Sandy’s Garden and KT-Lee Alpaca Ranch, while Oakhurst Ink created custom t-shirts delivered on the spot.
Local businesses enjoyed brisk trade with The Buckhorn Saloon having one of their busiest days ever. Two fantastic bands played downtown, one — that has yet to settle on a name — set up in front of Slim’s Koffee Shak, while 3 Shades of Blues, played on the upper deck of the Rancheria building.
Ken and Lisa Theis of KT-Lee Alpaca Ranch fired up their ’67 dragster several times to the delight of the crowd; the flames, noise, and vibration adding to the thrills of the day along with 80 beautiful classic cars to be viewed, envied and enjoyed.
