MARIPOSA — With a musical lineup including performances by Cottonwood Creek, Bootstrap Circus, Arroyo, and Mike Hammar and The Nails, the community is invited to converge this weekend to raise funds for Detwiler fire victims.
The benefit, Beauty from Ashes: Mariposa Strong, takes place on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds. Food and beverages will be provided by BB’s Catering and 1850 Restaurant & Brewing Company.
An abundance of items will be available in the raffle and silent auction. The cost to attend the benefit is $25 per person and $15 for children 10 and under.
All proceeds will go to the Mariposa Community Foundation for Detwiler Fire Victims.
