Siebenberg Is New Head Baseball Coach At YHS

OAKHURST – Yosemite High School has announced their incoming head baseball coach for the upcoming 2014-15 spring season, and the man may be new, but he’s an old friend to the team: Bob Siebenberg.

“Bob was previously part of the YHS baseball program during its heyday,” says YHS Athletic Director Michele Chenowith.

During his previous experience at YHS, Chenowith adds, the JV program won 5 of 7 league championships while Bob coached the team. The varsity team won 9 league titles and 4 CIF central section titles.

“We believe Bob has the experience, knowledge, and ability to bring out the best in our athletes. With his leadership, we are confident our baseball program will grow to be a dominant force in the future.”

  1. Coach George McWherter

Yosemite High School has hired exactly the right man for the head baseball coaching position. Bob is a class act, and will work very hard to make the program successful. When he coached the JV teams for me, he prepared the boys to go on to the next level, which was his primary goal. Good luck to Bob, and there is no doubt in my mind that he will do a great job. He knows the program the way we used to run it, and he will demand hard work and loyalty from the young men in the program.
