Sheriff And CHP Team Up To Catch Suspect

MADERA COUNTY – Reports of attempted witness tampering led both sheriff’s deputies and CHP officers to a home in Eastern Madera County where two men were arrested. Wilderness Marijuana Eradicated Near Mariposa

MARIPOSA COUNTY – Late Friday afternoon, Apr. 25, deputies from the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, following up on a tip of a large marijuana grow in the Crown Lead Road area of Coulterville, located and eradicated 11,216 plants. This grow is believed to belong to Mexican Drug Trafficking Organizations that have been operating in the area for some time.
