OAKHURST – The Golden Chain Theatre is holding auditions for their fall drama, “Jack the Ripper,” on Monday and Tuesday, Aug 12 and 13, at 7 p.m.
The play will be directed by Jason Turner, and will run the last three weekends of October.
The cast is very large in size, and producers are looking for a wide variety of age groups.
No prior stage experience is required nor any prepared monologues or material. Prospective cast members will be reading from selected portions of the play itself.
They will also be looking for people who would be willing to help backstage and for extras non-speaking roles.
If you’ve ever wanted to get your feet wet in theater, but aren’t sure if you want to be in the spotlight, now is your chance! Everyone is invited to “Come on down and be a part of our growing family!”
The Golden Chain Theatre is located at 42130 California 41 in Oakhurst.
