Arts And Crafts Show Benefits Two Charities

MADERA – Catholic Daughters of the Americas invite the community to their 4th Annual Spring Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Unique and unusual gifts for all occasions will be on sale at the dual-charity fundraiser, inside St. Joachim’s Holy Spouses Hall, located at 310 North I Street.

Organizers say more than 60 artists and crafters have been invited from across the Valley to participate, so shoppers can anticipate a great deal of diversity in the offerings.

Ladies of the CDA will also have food and beverages available for purchase. Treasurer Joann Martini explains the fundraiser is designed to aid two different charities.

“Proceeds go to Holy Family Table in Madera, a group that feeds the hungry 365 days a year,” says Joann, “and Doors of Hope in Madera, an organization which helping pregnant girls and their babies. Please help us make this a success and come support us.”

Set for the weekend before Mothers Day, the Spring Arts and Crafts Show is an indoor event and features live entertainment. Admission is free, and Joanne says it’s a great chance to pick up something really great for someone special. Hello, Mom?
