Art, Dinner & Music in the Meadow

The 9th Annual Art, Dinner and Music in the Meadow will be held at the Coarsegold Historic Museum on Saturday, June 2nd, from 3 to 8pm. The Valley Oak Band will be entertaining with bluegrass and country music, featuring Coarsegold Slim on the harmonica, and Jack Kinney on the fiddle. Also on the program, the astounding “Prestidigitations” of Phineas T. Barnabus.

The day’s activities will include craft demonstrations, docent-led tours, raffles, prizes, a picnic dinner with beverage and dessert, plus an introduction to the new Fazi Winery, with their wines available at $4 per glass. The Snack Shack will also be open for your munching pleasure.

Tickets are available through May 31st for just $20, children 6-12 are $10. At the door they will be $25. You can pick them up in Coarsegold at the Coarsegold Historic Museum (559-642-4448), Goldmine Pizza and Kenli, Inc. Also in Oakhurst at the Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau.

Enjoy a relaxing day browsing the arts, touring the museum, sampling local wines, and picnicing to the sounds of toe-tapping music. Chairs are available, but you are encouraged to bring your own comfy seating.
